The
Nimblemind provides group as well as individual
tutoring. A student must have a computer and a microphone to
enroll in the Nimblemind. Students use Voice over IP and are able to hear the instructor as well as the
rest of the class. The instructor is able to show the students,
slides, text, videos, a white board, photos, polls and other
resources. All of the students see these resources at the same
time.
Our classes are one hour a day, three days a week, for 14 weeks.
One of the drawbacks of any after school program is the problem
of transporting your student to the tutoring facility. We’ve
solved that expense and inconvenience; our students are able to
receive their tutoring on their computers at home. These classes
are live, with a real teacher, who gets to know your child. Our
teachers are trained to provide assessments of your child’s
abilities, then develop a plan to improve your child’s academic
performance, and regularly consult with you, your student, and
teachers.
The nimble mind’s strategies are geared for increasing your
child’s academic performance, their self-esteem, and confidence.

The
Nimblemind’s curriculum is geared for elementary, middle, and high
school students. It’s flexible and specific to your states’ standards
and tests. Our students usually show improvement of one grade level or
more, plus they acquire study skills that will help them when faced
with academic challenges. We also provide test taking and time
management techniques to improve test performance.
